For over 35 years Exotic Woods has been supplying instrument makers and repair shops around the world with the highest quality materials from our Warehouse located in the city of Burlington, Canada. Our Shipping Department takes great care in preparing and packing your order but in the rare event that your packages arrive in a manner that does not meet your expectations, we’d like you to know a couple of things about our customer service.
If any item fails to meet your expectations, you may return it, unaltered, for a store credit or exchange.
Canada: Shipping rates are determined by the weight and dimensions of the package.
International: For details about International Shipping please contact us by phone or email.
If your package shows physical damage (crushed corners or footprints or the like….don’t ask), please refuse it and have it returned to Exotic Woods and contact us for instructions. Hidden damage can occur so please save all original carton(s), packing material and damaged goods for inspection by the carrier until you are satisfied that the contents are in good order..
IF YOU ACCEPT A DAMAGED PACKAGE, WE HAVE NO RECOURSE WITH THE CARRIER AND CANNOT CONSIDER A REFUND.
However, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with the selection or quality of your goods, you may return them at your expense within 7 business days for full replacement or store credit.
Products can be shipped by Canada Post or a Private Company at our choosing.
Due to environmental effects with certain woods, there are some species that we cannot guarantee. Please contact us for a list of affected woods and more Information.
US & INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
Please note that we only ship when an import permit (where necessary) has been obtained by you, the customer from your local government. Exotic Woods is not responsible for these permits and will not be held responsible for refused shipments should you not obtain a permit.
